RFP (Request for Proposals)
The RFP is an open call for program and project proposals. Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the school year. Projects will be selected based on merit and innovation and the grants will be considered in the order received so apply soon! Please submit one proposal per project, but feel free to submit as many proposals as you like.
We offer support ranging from:
- Direct cash grants to students or groups of students
- Professional mentoring for project development
- Access to venues and alternative spaces for display and performance (galleries, theaters, etc.)

Community Artists and Non-Students
Non-Student artists and community members are welcome to submit program and project proposal either as individuals or with students. All applications will be considered based on artistic merit and innovative ideas however, student initiated programs and those that involve students will be given priority.
Student Liaisons
Each participating Arts on the Move campus is represented by a specially selected Student Liaison. This student is responsible for:
- Acting as ambassador for Arts on the Move on campus
- Along with the local Hillel staff, conduct outreach to your college’s arts students and faculty
- Promote Arts on the Move events and projects
- Solicit a minimum of 8 project proposals during the course of the school year
- Along with Arts on the Move Director and Hillel staff, evaluate proposals for artistic merit and Jewish content
- Along with Hillel staff manage 1 “blockbuster” event on campus each semester
- Attend events, take pictures for the arts on move websites and, along with student initiator, fill out program evaluations after each event
- Post pics, comments and updates once a week to the AOM blog,Facebook and/or Twitter
- Write up an end of year evaluation of the program and personal performance
